LMMS LEADERSHIP PROJECT
CLOTHING DRIVE
The 2020-21 LMMS / Megiddo Dream Station Leadership Project
is exciting as it appeals to students who are concerned about:
Our Environment
Unemployment
Local Poverty
International Poverty
These student leaders are encouraging parents, teachers, neighbors and fellow students to collect very used cloth and leather products. This includes stained/ripped clothing, old belts, broken shoes and purses. Anything made of cloth or leather is accepted!
These items will be saved from the landfills and will be recycled .
The recycled cloth and leather will be sent to 3rd world countries and used by families and entrepreneurs to make clothes, purses, cots, tents, shoes, etc.
Megiddo Dream Station will get a small handling fee from the recyling company, allowing us to serve our local community.
Cloth and leather items can be dropped off at Megiddo Dream Station any
Wednesday in March and April 2021.
A drop-off day at the school will scheduled--- stay tuned for details!
